Access to Food Security Knowledge

a Knowledge-Based Approach

(NUUz) is  advancing food security through education, research, and collaboration. By integrating food security and sustainable agriculture topics into its curriculum, NUUz equips students and researchers with the skills to develop innovative solutions addressing local and regional agricultural challenges. These students often work hand-in-hand with farmers, facilitating direct knowledge transfer and supporting rural development.

Curriculum Integration

NUUz’s educational programs promote modern agricultural practices and responsible resource management.

Key courses include:

General Agriculture and Crop Production

Intelligent Farming Systems and Soil Properties

Fertilizing Agricultural Crops

Collaborative Research and Farmer Engagement

Training sessions

Kattakurgan district (Samarkand region), NUUz researchers conducted a practical-scientific seminar to assess soil fertility and ecological conditions near the Kattakurgan Reservoir. This project, funded by the Agency for Innovative Development, resulted in cartographic models that help farmers restore soil health and strengthen national food security.
