Youth Dialogue with the “National Revival” Democratic Party: Towards an Innovative and Sustainable Future
An open dialogue with young people was held today at the National University of Uzbekistan with the participation of Alisher Kadyrov, Chairman of the Central Council of the “National Revival” (Milliy Tiklanish) Democratic Party, Feruza Muhammedjanova, Deputy Chairperson of the party, and Jabbor Muhammadiyev, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work. The event gathered university students, professors, and party representatives for an in-depth discussion on youth engagement, national development, and innovation.
In his address, Alisher Kadyrov emphasized that the future of Uzbekistan depends on an active, educated, and environmentally responsible young generation. He noted that today’s youth are not only expected to be patriotic and creative but also to contribute to solving global challenges such as climate change, clean energy transition, and technological innovation.
The dialogue focused on how youth can participate in informing and supporting government policy on clean energy and energy-efficient technology development, which are among the strategic goals of Uzbekistan’s modernization agenda. The “National Revival” party representatives highlighted that sustainable development is inseparable from strong national identity, scientific progress, and civic responsibility.
Feruza Muhammedjanova underlined the importance of creating conditions for young scientists and innovators to realize their ideas in renewable energy, waste management, and environmental protection projects. She stressed that youth-led innovation and educational reform can drive Uzbekistan’s transformation into a green and knowledge-based economy.
The students asked questions about youth policy, employment opportunities, and the role of young people in achieving the Party representatives encouraged them to develop leadership skills, engage in community initiatives, and take part in research and start-up projects related to clean technologies.
The event concluded with a message of unity and optimism — that the joint efforts of political leaders, educators, and the youth will ensure the revival of a progressive, energy-efficient, and environmentally conscious Uzbekistan.
