National University Faculty Conducts Ad-Hoc Session on Water Sustainability at Local School

As part of its ongoing outreach initiatives, faculty members from the National University of Uzbekistan conducted an ad-hoc educational session at a nearby affiliated school, focusing on water issues and sustainable water management.

The session aimed to raise awareness among school students about the importance of water as a critical natural resource and the challenges posed by water scarcity, pollution, and inefficient usage.

Led by university professors as guest speakers, the lecture covered key topics such as:

  • The global and regional water crisis

  • Clean water access and its role in public health

  • Innovative methods of water conservation

  • The role of ecosystems and wetlands in natural filtration

  • Youth responsibility in preserving water resources

The students actively participated in discussions, asked insightful questions, and showed great interest in learning how they can contribute to solving water-related problems in their communities.

This ad-hoc training is part of the university’s broader mission to promote environmental education and empower the younger generation to take initiative in areas like climate resilience, water sustainability, and eco-conscious living.
