Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Uzbekistan – Charlotte Adriaen:
Information Day for Erasmus+ This shows once again that we have the opportunity to meet experts and universities to see more opportunities. We’ll have a new call for proposals at the end of November, an opportunity to discuss things, learn more about what we can do together. Now, perhaps the most important thing is that Erasmus has been cooperating with Uzbekistan for the past 29 years, and we are strengthening cooperation with Uzbek universities and European universities, and we are very proud of this, because we believe that education is the basis of development and prosperity. In particular, today we want to create university-based partnerships that are more inclusive, digital and environmentally friendly. We know that this is really an ambition for both Europe and Uzbekistan. We are looking for an opportunity to expand the project, make education convenient and high-quality. And this is especially important, because in the future we will establish even closer cooperation.
