On August 21-25, 2023, within the framework of the “SPACECOM: New study program in space systems and communications engineering” project, a coordination meeting of the project and a special seminar-training were held at the Technical University of Berlin (Technische Universität Berlin).
A delegation of NUU led by vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations, doctor of physics-mathematical sciences, professor Yoqub Ergashov, including the head of the “Physics of Semiconductors and Polymers” department A. Nasirov, associate professor of the department P. Parchinsky and associate professor of the “Photonics” department R. Vildanov took part.
It is gratifying that at the end of the seminar training, a meeting was held between the representatives of NUU and the Technical University of Berlin. During the meeting, a number of cooperation issues were discussed and future plans were considered. Also, the two universities agreed on further improvement of the database created in cooperation, its dissemination to the general public, and the invitation of scientific researchers interested in this field to the project.
At the coordination meeting, opinions were exchanged on the issues of effective implementation of the SPACECOM project. Lectures were given by professors and specialists of a number of universities and organizations in Europe (including Sorbonne University (France), Sofia Technical University (Bulgaria), AP Hogeschool (Belgium), Exo-launch company (Germany)).
