It should be recalled that the Faculty of Taekwondo and Sports Activities within the National University of Uzbekistan was established by the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-3390 dated November 16, 2017. This faculty has quickly become a large scientific and practical center for training highly qualified athletes in taekwondo.

Today, many winners of Olympic, world and Asian championships are emerging among the graduates of this faculty. Two-time Olympic champions such as Ulugbek Rashitov, and now female athletes such as Svetlana Osipova, continue this high tradition.
