An award ceremony and a concert program were held at the National University of Uzbekistan on November 11 – “Day of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan”.
Guests from top trade union organizations, university management, professors, teachers, workers, veterans and activists of the organization took part in it.
On the occasion of the “Day of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan” holiday, professors-teachers and workers who are active in educational, scientific, spiritual-educational, public and economic work at the university are congratulated by Uzbekistan. The Republican Council of the Trade Union of Science and Technology Workers, the Tashkent City Council and the Trade Union Committee of the National University of Uzbekistan presented valuable gifts, certificates of honor and free tickets to sanatoriums.
For information, the Trade Union Committee at the National University of Uzbekistan has united more than 3,500 trade union members. It has a multidisciplinary organizational structure and includes 17 faculties, the Institute of Biophysics and Biochemistry, the Research Institute of Semiconductor Physics and Microelectronics, the Center for the Development of Nanotechnology, the Center for Military Training, and the Retraining and Upskilling of Pedagogical Personnel regional center, there are 29 primary trade union organizations in total, each of which has a primary trade union chairperson.
