“Every person, in every country on every continent, is affected by climate change in some way. A climate cataclysm is looming, and we are unprepared for what it might mean.
Climate change is caused by human activities and threatens life on earth as we know it. As greenhouse gas emissions increase, climate change is happening faster than expected. Its impacts can be catastrophic and include extreme and changing weather patterns and rising sea levels.
If left unchecked, climate change will undo much of the progress made in recent years. It also triggers mass migrations that lead to instability and wars.” – says one of the speakers.
