A training session titled “Developing Critical and Creative Thinking” was conducted.

On February 6 of this year, as part of the “Young Psychologists” club, students from the Family Psychology department at the Faculty of Social Sciences, National University of Uzbekistan—M. Bahromova, N. Mamarasulova, and A. Rahmatullayeva—conducted a training session on “Transactional Analysis” within the “Personal Development” course. Additionally, fellow students
U. Abdug‘aniyeva, M. Akbarova, O. Boymatova, G. Eshqobilova, and N. Ro‘zmetova led a session focused on “Developing Critical and Creative Thinking”.

During the event, the students presented the fundamental principles, concepts, and methods of transactional analysis to the participants, offering in-depth insights into psychological approaches and their practical applications. The participants were given the opportunity to collaboratively discuss issues based on transactional analysis and share their perspectives. Furthermore, the students provided comprehensive information on the significance of critical and creative thinking, techniques for fostering these skills, and their practical use in everyday life.

Throughout the training, participants had the chance to share their experiences and engage in discussions with one another. At the conclusion of the event, they explored how they could apply the knowledge they had acquired in real-life situations.

The training was led by D. Muxamedova, Head of the “General Psychology” Department and Chair of the Commission, and R. Qudratullayeva, Associate Professor of the “Social Psychology” Department, with the participation of
F. Mamirova, Z. Saidazizova, A. A’zamov, and Sh. O’ktamov.
