Dilfuza Egamberdiyeva, an accomplished scientist in microbiology, head of the laboratory of the National University of Uzbekistan, was awarded the “UNESCO-Carlos Finley” award.
Our scientist was awarded the 2023 UNESCO Microbiology Prize for his research in the field of plant-microbiome interaction, plant stress resistance, soil biology and microbial diversity.
Also, Dilfuza Egamberdiyeva is the head of the fundamental project “New biochar and rhizobacteria-based bioinoculate for the production of healthy food from stressed agro-ecosystems” at the Faculty of Biology, which is carried out within the framework of Uzbekistan-India cooperation.
