On November 6-9 this year, the head of the Department of Uzbek Linguistics of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology, professor Muhabbat Qurbanova, visited the Mainz University of Germany named after Johannes Gutenberg based on an invitation.
During the trip, he gave a lecture on “Uzbek language” and “Turkish linguistics” to the masters of Turkology Department.
In addition, master’s students were informed about Uzbek culture and national values, and a cultural corner with exhibits related to our national culture was organized. These exhibits aroused great interest among students.
During the visit, discussions were held with industry experts within the framework of scientific cooperation and future plans were agreed upon.
