Today, on June 7, a delegation led by the vice-rector of Umm al-Qura University of Saudi Arabia, professor Amir bin Evaz az Zaidi, visited NUU. At the meeting, ideas were exchanged on the establishment of bilateral cooperative relations. Professor Amir bin Evaz az Zaidi spoke about Umm al-Qura University and said that he is ready to cooperate in the fields of exact and natural sciences, economy and social science.

At the same time, it was agreed to start scientific cooperation immediately, and for this it was emphasized the need to establish cooperation between professors and scientists of both universities. Proposals were also made about the possibility of organizing an international conference and scientific publications with the support of the special fund of Umm al-Qura University.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached on cooperation in the development of the international scientific journal of Umm al-Qura University in the field of biology and the international scientific journal of NUU in the social field.
