As we previously reported, in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated July 11, 2023 No. 2/12-1/25-409, Canadian higher education institutions were studied and cooperation with Laval University negotiations had begun.
Today, an online dialogue was held regarding the issue of cooperation with the University of Montreal, another Canadian university ranked high in international rankings (THE-111 and QS-116).
During the meeting, both universities were introduced and common interests and goals were discussed.
Information was given about a number of scientific and educational programs of the University of Montreal and opportunities to participate in them. Also, the University of Montreal expressed interest in student exchange programs mainly for students learning French. It was noted that classes and programs at this university are mainly conducted in French. In addition, it was mentioned that special French language classes will be held for English-speaking students.
After the dialogue, it was agreed to establish cooperation in compatible areas.
