In preparation for the upcoming academic year, the National University of Uzbekistan embarked on a campus beautification project, collaborating with farm workers and volunteers to enhance the university’s landscaping. The initiative aimed to create a welcoming and aesthetically pleasing environment for students, faculty, and visitors.
With the participation of dedicated farm workers and enthusiastic volunteers, various landscaping activities were undertaken across the university campus. These activities included planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, as well as trimming hedges, mowing lawns, and maintaining green spaces.
“The landscaping project at our university is a testament to our commitment to providing an attractive and conducive environment for learning and academic engagement. We are grateful for the dedication and hard work of our farm workers and volunteers, whose efforts have significantly enhanced the beauty of our campus,” expressed Valijon Umarov vice-rector for financial affairs of NUU.
The collaborative effort between farm workers, volunteers, and university staff exemplified the spirit of community and teamwork, with individuals coming together to contribute their time and expertise towards a common goal of improving the campus environment.
“We are proud to be part of this initiative to beautify our university campus. By working together, we have not only transformed the physical landscape but also fostered a sense of pride and ownership among members of our university community,” remarked Alisher Ruziyev, one of the volunteers involved in the project.
The landscaping works, carried out meticulously in the weeks leading up to the new academic year, aimed to create an inviting and inspiring atmosphere that promotes student well-being, academic success, and a sense of belonging.
As students, faculty, and staff return to campus for the start of the new academic year, they will be greeted by a rejuvenated and vibrant environment, conducive to learning, collaboration, and personal growth.
