On May 22, the rector and management representatives of the Hong Kong Educational University visited the National University of Uzbekistan.
The members of the delegation were welcomed by the rector of UzMU and a conversation was held about mutual relations. During the interview, information was given about the pedagogy and psychology directions of UzMU.
First, the Education University of Hong Kong was introduced and it was noted that it is one of the eight subsidized universities under education grants and the only university in the territory dedicated to teacher education.
Information was given that the university consists of three faculties and more than ten academic departments, and they provide various grants for students. Also, issues of establishing cooperation relations with this university on the development of the educational system were discussed. The issues of conducting scientific research in the field of pedagogy and establishing academic mobility were also considered.
At the end of the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two universities.
