An International Earth Day, a prestigious international scientific conference was held on April 22 at the esteemed Marriott Tashkent hotel in the city of Tashkent. Organized by the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, in collaboration with the Committee on Development Issues and Ecology of the Oliy Majlis Senate of the Aral Sea Region, the Agrarian and Water Management Committee, the Committee on Higher Education, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, and the representative office of the FAO of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the conference served as a platform for addressing pressing environmental issues and fostering sustainable development.
Distinguished experts, scholars, and policymakers from various disciplines convened at the Marriott Tashkent to engage in insightful discussions on the current state of the environment, climate change, and strategies for promoting sustainable practices. The conference, held under the patronage of multiple influential bodies, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing environmental challenges.
The event featured keynote addresses, panel discussions, and presentations covering a broad spectrum of topics, including climate change mitigation, water management, agricultural sustainability, and ecological conservation.
