The international specialists of the DEKONTA company of the Czech Republic are at UzMU

National adaptation of agriculture to climate change within the framework of the project “National adaptation plan based on sectors to promote medium and long-term adaptation planning in Uzbekistan” implemented in cooperation with the Green Climate Fund, UNDP and Uzgidromet International specialists of the DEKONTA company of the Czech Republic, participating in the development of the plan, visited the National University of Uzbekistan today, April 3.
The meeting was attended by Lubosh Smutka, member of the International Association of Agricultural Economists and member of the Czech Academy, Vladimir Krepl, Doctor of Philosophy in Agricultural Engineering, Inna Chabelkova, Doctor of Philosophy in Economics, Gender Specialist, as well as Representatives of the Department of International Relations of the National University of Uzbekistan and professors and teachers of the Faculty of Biology participated.
During the meeting, the project experts provided detailed information on the methodology and concept of the adaptation plan for agriculture, as well as the work carried out within the framework of the project. At the same time, the participants of the meeting discussed the collaborative research carried out within the framework of the project “National adaptation plan based on sectors for the promotion of medium and long-term adaptation planning in Uzbekistan” in Scopus and Web of Science journals, biology, agriculture Opinions were expressed about the establishment of cooperation for the establishment of academic mobility of professors and teachers in the fields of economics.
As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to organize an online meeting in the next few days with the participation of project participants and specialists of the Faculty of Hydrometeorology of the National University of Uzbekistan.
