Psychological training aimed at developing self-regulation in students

Psychological training was organized for students of the 4th year of the direction “Applied Psychology” of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The event took place on April 7, 2025 in the Japanese garden and was organized by the Department of Psychology v.b. Associate Professor (PhD) Lyutsiya Aliyevna Jabarova led.

The main goal of the training was to maintain and strengthen mental health in students, prevent stressful situations, reduce emotional exhaustion, and develop psychological stability. Strengthening participants’ motivation for personal development and self-improvement was also identified as an important area.

During the internship, students:

Teaching participants self-management techniques
Developing practical skills in stress management and prevention
Increase mental and emotional stability in critical situations
Strengthening motivation towards personal development

During the training, students learned about various self-management techniques and tested them through practical exercises. The training was organized in an interactive manner, during which participants had the opportunity to analyze various psychological situations, understand and control their emotions, and develop the skills to make the right decisions in stressful situations.
