"Career Day" and meeting with employers at the National University of Uzbekistan
The “Career Day” job fair has started its activities as part of the traditional festival “Student Spring — 2024”, held under the slogan “Let’s build a new Uzbekistan together!” The main goal of the event is to ensure the employment of graduating students, prepare them as personnel suitable for the labor market, and create an opportunity for direct communication with employers.
More than 100 enterprises and organizations, including the university’s main customer organizations, government agencies, commercial banks, insurance companies, associations, and representatives of the private sector, are participating in this job fair.
They provide students with detailed information about their activities, more than 10,000 available vacancies and internship programs through visual materials and information booklets. Also, on-site interviews and conversations with representatives of enterprises are organized, and the professional training, skills and potential of students are studied.
During the event, students have the opportunity to choose jobs suitable for their areas of specialization, talk directly with representatives of organizations and submit their resumes. Many enterprises have expressed their desire to interview graduates on the spot and offer them internships and permanent jobs.
In addition, career advice, resume writing and interviewing seminars, as well as motivational speeches were organized as part of the “Career Day”.
This fair not only helps students determine their professional path, but also allows them to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and industry, and to establish a more effective system for training qualified personnel.
In line with the principle of “New Uzbekistan – a country of new opportunities”, the event is aimed at ensuring the active participation of young people in the labor market, and at widely involving them in modern professions, innovative industries and entrepreneurial activities.
Students who participated in the event noted that this fair made an important turning point in their lives and gave them great motivation to find their place in their chosen profession in the future. Employers, in turn, highly appreciated the qualifications, level of knowledge and activity of UzN students and expressed their desire to establish permanent cooperation with them.
