International conference dedicated to innovative approaches to the educational process at the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Uzbekistan
During the conference, professors, academic staff, doctoral and master’s students participated with their scientific and methodological developments. They expressed their opinions on the use of advanced pedagogical technologies, digital educational tools, the effectiveness of interactive methods, and the adaptation of international experience to the national education system in teaching economic disciplines.
The conference held discussions in the following areas:
Author’s approaches and new methodological guidelines in teaching the subject “Economic Theory”;
Modernization of economic education in the context of technological development and changes in world economic structures;
Specific aspects of the “National Economy” course and issues of increasing the effectiveness of bachelor’s and master’s training;
Improving curricula based on a competency-based approach to education;
Theory and methodology of teaching the “National Economy” course using the example of the value system of Russian society.
Within the framework of these issues, the introduction of innovative technologies in teaching economics, improving the scientific potential of teachers, and international exchange of experience were highlighted as important areas.
At the conference, visiting scientists and teachers from Tver State University shared their experiences in advanced methodologies for teaching economics in Russia, innovative educational technologies, and digital learning platforms through their reports.
They recognized the achievements of the National University of Uzbekistan in the field of economics education and noted that cooperation between the two higher education institutions is reaching a new level.
At the end of the event, the participants developed recommendations on expanding international cooperation, establishing joint educational programs, as well as strengthening scientific and methodological cooperation in teaching economics.
Special attention was also paid to improving the quality of education, strengthening the practical significance of economics, and developing students’ innovative thinking skills.
