NUUz and Creativity School: Strengthening Mentorship and the Teacher-student Tradition
During the meeting, the school administration and university experts agreed on a series of joint initiatives, with a central focus on mentoring and the traditional “Ustoz-Shogird” (Mentor-Apprentice) system. This approach aims to provide methodological support, foster professional growth, and ensure the transfer of academic and pedagogical experience from senior professors to young teachers.
The collaboration also envisions the establishment of student clubs such as “Young Translators” and “Textual Studies”, as well as the organization of creative evenings, workshops, and seminars designed to nurture talented and creative pupils.
Furthermore, the parties agreed to involve the school community in international conferences, symposiums, and competitions held at the university, thereby offering students wider academic exposure and inspiration.
By reinforcing the principles of mentorship and the ustoz-shogird tradition, this cooperation is expected to cultivate the intellectual, cultural, and creative potential of the younger generation, guiding them toward academic excellence and personal growth.
