In cooperation with the Jizzakh Regional Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the Regional Department of the National Guard, a Patriotism Day was organized under the motto “I am the shield of your security, my Motherland” with the participation of members and leading coordinators of the “Qalqon” public groups operating in five higher education institutions of the region.

The main purpose of the event was to educate young people in the spirit of patriotism and to familiarize them closely with the activities of the National Guard, issues of national security, and civic responsibility. In addition, awareness-raising activities were carried out not only to strengthen national pride and social activity among youth but also to promote environmental protection, ecological safety, and the development of a responsible attitude toward combating climate change.

During the event, members of the “Qalqon” groups, together with representatives of the National Guard, participated in interactive sessions on security, emergency situations, and community protection. These sessions also provided knowledge and skills on being prepared for emergencies that may arise as a result of climate change, ensuring environmental sustainability, and using natural resources wisely.

This Patriotism Day not only aimed to nurture young people in the spirit of loyalty to national values and devotion to the defense of the Motherland, but also to shape them as active, conscious, and responsible citizens in the fight against climate change.

At the conclusion of the event, participants were encouraged to further develop not only their military and teamwork skills, but also their ecological awareness and abilities to promote sustainability, gaining inspiration for their future endeavors.
