One of the key indicators of a nation’s spiritual and cultural development is its attitude toward books and reading habits. The remarkable scientific and cultural achievements of great thinkers who have made significant contributions to human progress stem from their dedication to reading and their thirst for knowledge. Recognizing this, our country places great emphasis on fostering a culture of reading and nurturing a deep appreciation for books among young people.
To encourage students and young people living near the university to expand their reading beyond textbooks and explore diverse genres—including fiction, popular science, philosophy, and more—the university has been implementing various initiatives aimed at broadening their intellectual horizons and shaping their worldview. In this regard, the University Information Resource Center, in collaboration with *Zabarjad Media* publishing house, organized book fairs at the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Intellectual Technologies.
During the fair, *Zabarjad Media* publishing house showcased a diverse collection of renowned classic literary works, popular science books, and detective and adventure novels in multiple languages. This extensive selection provided every reader with the opportunity to find books that suited their interests.
Additionally, the book fair attracted great interest not only from students but also from university professors and lecturers. For them, the event held significant value, offering access to new scientific literature, contemporary research, as well as philosophical and historical works.
This event became an important step in fostering a culture of reading among students, enhancing their interest in books, and expanding their intellectual horizons.
