University laureates

In accordance with the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Maftuna Abdumannon qizi Chilmurzayeva, an independent researcher in the field of comparative literature, contrastive linguistics, and translation studies at the National University of Uzbekistan, and Niginaxon O‘tkir qizi Xojiboqiyeva, a third-year student of the Faculty of Psychology at the Jizzakh branch of the National University of Uzbekistan, were awarded the Zulfiya State Prize.

Maftuna Chilmurzayeva is a recipient of the Navoiy State Scholarship and works in the fields of poetry and literary translation. She has been translating works of prominent Uzbek poets and writers into English. Her poetry collection titled “Iftixor” has been published, which reflects the creative thinking and unique style of the young poet. Additionally, Maftuna Chilmurzayeva successfully enhanced her skills as a participant in the “Zomin” Republic seminar for young poets. Her boundless love for literature and dedication to her work set her apart from other researchers.

Niginaxon Xojiboqiyeva won a bronze medal at the Muhammad al-Khwarizmi International Olympiad in mathematics, held in Nukus. Furthermore, she is a winner of the “Student of the Year” National Competition and has secured numerous victories in various competitions and academic contests. Niginaxon Xojiboqiyeva is recognized not only within her faculty but also across the entire university community for her dedication and efforts. She plans to achieve significant accomplishments in the field of science in the future and aims to acquire extensive knowledge in modern psychology.

These awards stand as proof that the active promotion of women’s issues, their role in the development of lifelong education, and policies aimed at enhancing women’s professional skills throughout their lives are not only crucial within the university but also significant and deserving of attention at the national level.
