On March 1 of this year, the National University of Uzbekistan hosted the “Youth Festival” to offer meaningful activities for students and young residents of nearby neighborhoods, foster their creative potential, promote unity, and actively involve them in cultural life.
The festival featured a variety of engaging events, including the “Amateur Guitar Enthusiasts” competition for young music lovers, the “Around the Campfire” poetry night and creators’ contest for literature enthusiasts, as well as the unique “Shashlik Day” cooking competition, which garnered special attention.
The “Shashlik Day” competition sparked the greatest interest among the youth. Additionally, the “Amateur Guitar Enthusiasts” competition and the poetry night provided young talents with the opportunity to showcase their skills. Winners of these contests were awarded cash prizes, with 700,000 UZS for first place, 500,000 UZS for second place, and 300,000 UZS for third place, which were duly presented to them.

The total prize fund of the festival amounted to 4,800,000 UZS.
Such events not only provide students with the opportunity to spend their free time meaningfully but also help unite them, enhance their interest in art and culture, and contribute to creating a healthy social environment in society.
