On February 5-10 of this year, an interregional educational forum of higher education institutions of Belarus and Uzbekistan was held. As part of this forum, a delegation of 8 rectors led by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Ivanets is currently in Uzbekistan.
The rectors of Belarusian higher education institutions who visited the National University of Uzbekistan within the framework of the forum were welcomed by the rector of the National University of Uzbekistan Inom Madjidov.
At the same time, the round table discussion is attended by the rector of the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics Vadim Bogush, the rector of the Belarusian State University of Technology Igor Voitov, the rector of the A.S. Pushkin Brest State University Yuriy Golubev, the rector of the Grodno State University named after Yu. Kupala Irina Kiturko, the rector of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy Vitaly Velikanov, the rector of the Polotsk State University named after Evfrosin Yuri Romanovsky, the rector of the Belarusian National Technical University Sergey Kharitonchik.
Rectors of more than 10 universities of our republic are also participating in this international event aimed at strengthening cooperation with Belarusian higher education institutions.
A number of cooperation agreements and agreements were signed at the National University of Uzbekistan as a result of the meeting between higher education institutions of Belarus and Uzbekistan.
In particular, cooperation agreements and memorandums were signed between the National University of Uzbekistan and the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, as well as Brest State University, Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry and the Belarusian State Technological University, Namangan Engineering and Technology Institute and the Belarusian State Technological University, as well as the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Namangan State Pedagogical University and Polotsk State University.
