At the National University of Uzbekistan, Professor Choriyor Ashuraliyev from Turkey’s Bahçeşehir University (Bahcesehir University — BAU), a Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, has been serving as a lecturer in the “Computational Mathematics and Information Systems” Department of the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Intellectual Technologies since November 2023. This collaboration between universities contributes to international experience exchange and enhances the scientific potential of the university.
Today, on February 1, Choriyor Ashuraliyev delivered a lecture on “Methods for Approximate Solutions of Inverse Problems” to first-year master’s students specializing in Applied Mathematics. During this lecture, students gained valuable insights into the theoretical and practical aspects of inverse problems, as well as modern algorithms and methods for solving them. The session included lively discussions, during which the foreign professor shared his extensive expertise in the field.
It is worth noting that comprehensive efforts are underway to attract foreign professors and lecturers to the National University of Uzbekistan. As a result, in the 2023 Asia University Rankings, the National University of Uzbekistan ranked 90th in terms of this indicator. This achievement reflects the outcomes of strategic measures aimed at expanding international collaboration, attracting experienced professors, and improving the quality of education.
The activities carried out by Choriyor Ashuraliyev at the National University of Uzbekistan are of great significance not only for students but also for local faculty and researchers, further strengthening the university’s integration into the international scientific community.
