Chemistry Faculty Student Wins Fifth “Uzbekistan GTL” Scholarship Competition

The results of the fifth “GTL Scholarship Program” competition, organized by the “Uzbekistan GTL” company under the auspices of “Uzbekneftgaz”, have been announced.

Asilbek Alimov, a graduate student from the Faculty of Chemistry at the National University of Uzbekistan, successfully participated in the competition and secured the “Uzbekistan GTL” scholarship. This achievement serves as a significant recognition of his academic and scientific efforts.

The “GTL Scholarship Program” was established during the 2019–2020 academic year. Since its inception, a total of 5714 students have participated, with around 70 winners and active participants identified. This program not only provides financial support to students but also motivates them to excel in the fields of chemistry and petrochemicals, aiming to nurture future leaders in the industry.

Asilbek Alimov’s success in the competition reflects his dedication to scientific research and academic excellence over the past years. The program offers its winners not only scholarships but also opportunities for internships and hands-on training at the “Uzbekistan GTL” facilities.

Such initiatives are expected to further inspire students at the National University of Uzbekistan to engage in scientific research and contribute to producing highly qualified professionals in the field.
