An intellectual tournament for students with disabilities was organized at NUU

Today, in our country, the priority of the state policy is to ensure human dignity, rights and interests. In this process, special importance is attached to giving attention and practical care to our compatriots with disabilities, like all our citizens, to support them in every way.

To emphasize that the efforts made with deep humanitarian ideas are in harmony with the goals and objectives of November 13 – International Day of the Blind and December 3 – International Day of Persons with Disabilities. necessary. In order to support students with disabilities, to open up their opportunities, and to encourage their aspirations, at the Faculty of History of the National University, on the occasion of the International Day of the Blind and Disabled, “No one is left out of love and attention in Uzbekistan.” “, an intellectual tournament was organized under the slogan. Within this tournament, more than 300 students with disabilities studying in various faculties of the university actively participated in the “Checkers” competition and “Zakovat” intellectual games.

According to the results, the winning participants in the checkers competition among students with visual disabilities of the I and II groups were awarded with a cash prize (1st place – 1,500,000 soums, 2 – 1st place – 1,000,000 soums, 3rd place – 500,000 soums) and were encouraged with gifts from the Almazor District Blind Society. Also, in the intellectual tournament “Zakovat” I and the winning teams made up of students with group II disabilities were awarded by the university with a prize fund of 10,500,000 soums and special souvenirs.
