On the occasion of the 583rd anniversary of Alisher Navoi and the 541st anniversary of Zakhiriddin Muhammad Babur, two great people who contributed to the development of the Uzbek literary language and literature at the initiative of the faculties of Applied Mathematics and Intellectual Technologies and Taekwondo and Sports Activities at the National University of Uzbekistan – an educational event was organized.
This event was held in order to widely promote the national and universal ideas deeply expressed in the works of two great thinkers, and to form high moral qualities in the hearts of students and young people.
Shahlo Khojiyeva, associate professor of the “Literary Studies” department of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology, explained to the participants of the meeting that it is the most important task and duty to preserve the great spiritual heritage left by our great scholars and to pass it on to the next generation.
In the artistic part of the event, performances staged by students, ghazals and rubai written by Alisher Navoi and Babur were memorized and presented to the audience. Active participants were awarded by the faculty management.
