Students of the National University of Uzbekistan "Eco-philanthropists" circle

Students of the National University of Uzbekistan, in addition to academic education, actively participate in the implementation of useful projects for society. Students, first of all, should take care of society, find solutions to existing problems on the way to sustainable socio-economic development, and develop skills to overcome obstacles and difficulties. With human and professional skills, they are an example to the younger generation, and with their knowledge and experience, they help to solve the problems arising in the middle and lower layers of society.

In order to ensure the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Nature Protection” adopted on December 9, 1992, and the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 434 “On Approving the Concept of Development of Environmental Education in the Republic of Uzbekistan” approved on 27 December 2019, The department of Ecology of the National University of Uzbekistan “Eco-volunteers” circle was established under the faculty, which is focused on the study of global environmental problems, regional and Uzbek environmental issues, preservation of biological diversity. The club is aimed at increasing the quality of intellectual and educational work of faculty students, cultural and spiritual development and productive use of the free time of students.

Students of the National University of Uzbekistan also feel their responsibility in protecting the environment. And they take part in various social and environmental actions carried out at the university: scientific conferences, clubs, participation in a public beautification campaign, garbage collection, ditch cleaning, tree planting, green space organization, volunteering at the library or other public events, and helping those in need, went to the house of the retired professors and teachers and received information from H.Z.

Moreover, in order to reduce carbon emissions, students should reduce the consumption of single-use plastic products, separate paper and metal waste and put it in the recycling bin, not waste water, save electricity, use alternative electricity, use public transport, and reduce fuel consumption. – participate in actions that help maintain the environment.
