Issues of cooperation development between higher education institutions of the two countries were discussed at the 1st educational forum “Uzbekistan-France” and the 2nd educational forum “France-Uzbekistan”. Work in this direction is actively being carried out at the National University of Uzbekistan.
It is known that after long negotiations with INALCO (National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations) institute, a memorandum was signed with this institute in May of this year. In this memorandum, it was agreed on the academic exchange of professors and teachers and joint scientific research between the two universities.
In particular, the specialists of the INALCO Institute proposed the development of a “Methodological manual for teaching the Uzbek language for foreigners”. The work in this direction is carried out by professors and teachers of the Department of Computer Linguistics of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology of NUU.
The first presentation of this textbook “Uzbek language for foreigners A1 level” (consisting of 12 lessons) took place today. The presentation was conducted by Professor Abdurakhmanova Nilufar, head of the Department of Computer Linguistics. Proposals for the textbook were discussed and it was agreed that additions would be made.
