On March 28, representatives of KOICA and the Korean Chemical Technology Research Institute (KRIST) visited NUU. Eunmi Park (Inmi Park), senior administrative officer of KRICT Institute, Daeseong Jeong (Desong Chong), head of global business (Hyundai Asan), consultant-manager Myungsuk Lee (Mensu Lee), general director of C&C Platform video production company HEEYOUNG were present at the meeting from the Republic of Korea. CHOI (KHIYON CHOY), general director of “Kortour” tourism agency HYUNGUEON SIN (HENGGEN SIN) and “Kortour” employee JANNA LI (JANNA LI) took part.
The meeting was attended by Raima Shirinova, vice-rector for international relations of the National University of Uzbekistan, Shahnoza Kadirova, dean of the faculty of chemistry, as well as professors and teachers of the faculty and staff of the international relations department.
At the roundtable discussion, which took place with heated discussions, measures to select talented candidates for master’s and doctoral studies in the Republic of Korea were discussed. The initial events are scheduled for April this year. It was agreed that all the expenses of the selected candidates during their studies will be fully covered by the Republic of Korea and that the graduates will be fully provided with a decent job in Uzbekistan.
