The National University of Uzbekistan had an Open Door Day as part of “Anti-Corruption Month,” which was centered around December 9, International Anti-Corruption Day. The administration of the university, deans of the faculties, deputy deans, employees, tutors, and members of the public were present.
Employees of the Anti-Corruption Agency of NUU, the Department of the Prosecutor’s Office of Tashkent City, the Anti-Corruption Department of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation , and the Department of the Prosecutor’s Office of Tashkent City heard reports on this subject.
It was also noted that an environment of intolerance for any forms of corruption in society can be created by completely regulating legal relations in the field of fighting corruption, improving the efficacy of anti- corruption measures carried out by state bodies, organizations, and civil society institutions, and raising citizens’ legal awareness and legal culture.
Several draft laws were created within the program’s framework, and an inventory of the ones that already existed was completed. The examination of contemporary research generally reveals that methodical steps have been made to raise people’s legal understanding and culture, as well as to foster an intolerance for corruption in society.
