The National University of Uzbekistan’s Foreign Philology Department runs the Interpreters Program, a volunteer opportunity for young graduates and final- year interpreting students to hone their abilities in a real-world conference setting by assisting more seasoned interpreters. Additionally, they will be called upon to assist international visitors and translate at government gatherings, summits, and forums.
Within the framework of this program, students of the Faculty of foreign Philology of the National University of Uzbekistan accompanied international observers and foreign journalists who came to the country to be acquainted with the processes of the extraordinary presidential election.
The translation activities of our talented students were especially recognized by influential guests, the level and skill, knowledge and experience of young translators actively participating in socio- political processes were highly appreciated.
