"Words to Girls" project at the National University of Uzbekistan: a new platform for active, educated and innovatively thinking women and girls

In order to increase the social activity of young people, especially female students, strengthen their personal development and leadership potential, the “Words for Women” project was launched at the National University of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the primary organization of the Youth Union and the University Advisory Council on Women’s Issues.

This project aims to provide comprehensive support to young women at the National University of Uzbekistan, strengthen their activity in social life, and cultivate young people who can freely express their opinions, have modern knowledge, and have innovative views.

More than 100 active female students studying at various faculties participated in the first meeting of the event. The meeting discussed the role of young people in social life, gender equality, women’s successes in science and education, as well as modern professions and leadership skills.

Within the framework of the project, it is planned to hold meetings, master classes, trainings and motivational seminars with the participation of state award winners, recipients of the Presidential grant, winners of prestigious international and republican competitions, female athletes and scientists. Through these meetings, it is planned to teach young girls the secrets of success in their field, social activism and the effective use of modern technologies.

It is also planned to hold a competition of innovative ideas, support startup initiatives and practical training aimed at developing women’s entrepreneurship within the framework of the project. This will further expand the ranks of not only socially active, but also innovatively thinking, enterprising, leading girls at the National University of Uzbekistan.

At the end of the event, the leaders of the primary organization of the Youth Union and members of the advisory council wished the project participants success, noting that their active participation will begin a new stage in the life of the university.

The “Words for Girls” project, organized at the National University of Uzbekistan, was recognized as an important initiative that encourages young women to take an active position in society and realize their abilities and talents.
