"Constitution Olympiad" was held at the university on the initiative of the Youth Union
On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “Constitutional Olympiad” was organized at the National University of Uzbekistan in order to further strengthen legal knowledge among young people, educate them in the spirit of respect for the law, and encourage them to deeply understand the essence of our Constitution.
This event was held at the initiative of the primary organization of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan at the university, in cooperation with the Department of “Legal Sciences” of the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Department of Work with Youth, Spirituality and Enlightenment.
The main goal of the Olympiad is to improve legal culture among students and masters, promote the ideas of the Constitution and the rule of law, as well as educate patriotic, legally literate and responsible youth.
The competition was held in two stages – in the form of tests and blitz questions and answers, in which a total of 116 students and masters actively participated. In the process of testing their knowledge and skills, the participants answered questions related to the basic principles of the Constitution, civil rights and obligations, as well as the system of public administration.
According to the evaluation results, the winners were determined as follows:
1st place: Salohiddinov Elbek Azamat, “Jurisprudence” major, 1st year;
2nd place: Abdujalilov Izzatbek Dilshodbek, “Jurisprudence” major, 3rd year;
3rd place: Nizomov Nurshod Nozim, “Jurisprudence” major, 1st year.
At the end of the event, the winners and active participants were awarded certificates of honor and souvenirs. Representatives of the Youth Union also emphasized that improving the legal thinking of young people and educating them in the spirit of respect for the rule of law is an important factor in the development of society.
This Olympiad was not only a knowledge test, but also played an important role in increasing the legal literacy of young people, strengthening their interest in in-depth study of our Constitution, as well as in forming a healthy competitive and educational environment at the university.
