Opening ceremony of the "Career Day" job fair at the National University of Uzbekistan
The “Career Day” job fair has begun as part of the traditional festival “Student Spring – 2024” held at the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek under the slogan “Let’s build a new Uzbekistan together!”.
The main goal of this event is to help graduating students find their place in the labor market, create an opportunity for direct communication with employers, and form a platform that serves to ensure youth employment.
The opening ceremony of the Career Day labor fair was attended by representatives of the State Service Development Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment, as well as representatives of partner organizations, foreign experts, university administration, professors and teachers, and many students and young people.
More than 100 state and non-governmental organizations, enterprises and international companies set up their stands within the framework of the fair and provided students with information about vacancies, internship programs and professional development opportunities.
Interview sessions, career advice, open dialogues with employers, and resume preparation seminars were also organized. This was an important practical help for young people not only in finding a job, but also in correctly determining their career path.

During the event, representatives of the relevant ministries spoke about the professional training of young people, modern requirements of the labor market and opportunities created by the state. They emphasized the invaluable role of universities in strengthening the integration between the education system and production, training qualified personnel and providing them with employment.
The “Career Day” labor fair is traditionally held annually by the National University of Uzbekistan and plays an important role in shaping the future professional activities of students and young people, preparing them as competitive personnel.
At the end of the event, certificates of appreciation were awarded to the participants of the fair, and active students were presented with certificates and souvenirs.
