On March 25-30, 2025, the World Taekwondo WT Championship for Athletes with Hearing Impairments was held in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Talented athletes from different countries of the world competed in this prestigious competition.

It is gratifying that Muhammad Usmanov, a 1st-year master’s student at the Faculty of “Taekwondo and Sports Activities” of the National University of Uzbekistan, demonstrated high skill and willpower at the championship, won and was awarded the title of world champion.

This success is the practical result of the attention and support shown by not only the university, but also our entire country to achievements in the field of sports. This victory of Muhammad Usmanov will serve as an example to our young athletes.

Our master’s student also won a ticket to participate in the Deaflympics (a competition for athletes with hearing impairment) to be held in Japan in 2025 through this victory.
