SEMINAR: Climate Change and Water Resource Management
At NUUz, issues of climate change and the rational use of water resources were discussed.
An international seminar was held at the Faculty of Hydrometeorology, National University of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with IIT Kharagpur, India. The event took place on the 7th–8th of this year and was dedicated to “Climate Change and the Rational Use of Water Resources.”
🌍At the seminar, Indian experts delivered presentations analyzing the main causes of climate change, its impact on various sectors, and scientifically grounded solutions to existing problems.
💧 During the event, special attention was given to the rational use and effective management of water resources. Experts shared their experiences on issues such as water scarcity, opportunities for water reuse, and modern approaches to ensuring environmental safety.
📌At the conclusion of the seminar, participants received answers to their questions. This scientific meeting not only strengthened collaboration between the two universities but also provided an important platform for exchanging new ideas and practical experiences in the field of climate change and water resource management.
