"I am a donor" blood donation campaign at the National University of Uzbekistan

The “I am a donor” blood donation campaign is held 4 times a year at the National University of Uzbekistan. On June 1 – International Children’s Day, a charity donation campaign was organized at the university under the slogan “Let our love be with you, child.” This auspicious event was held in collaboration with the Tashkent City Blood Products Production Enterprise and united many participants in one goal – saving the lives of children.

The donation campaign was held in the center of the university’s rectorate and lasted from 9:00 to 13:00. During the campaign, all necessary medical conditions were created for blood donation. The health of volunteers was carefully examined by qualified doctors, and the blood donation process was carried out safely and in an orderly manner.

This good initiative was welcomed with great interest by the university administration, vice-rectors, professors, employees, and many students. Volunteers who actively participated in the campaign contributed to preserving the health and lives of sick children under the slogan “I am a donor.” All of them perceived this work as a manifestation of humanity, love, and social responsibility.

The donation campaign has become important not only for blood donation, but also for spreading the ideas of kindness and humanity in society. Such events encourage students to be generous and actively participate in initiatives that are useful to society. In particular, it reminds us that promoting a healthy lifestyle, assisting in the treatment of patients, and preserving their lives is our human duty.

The leadership of the National University of Uzbekistan and partner organizations intend to continue such donation campaigns in the future and make them a regular tradition, because such events not only benefit the health of members of society, but also serve to educate a kind, generous, and responsible generation.
