Navruz, one of the brightest symbols of the national values ​​and ancient traditions of Uzbekistan, is celebrated every year with great joy, renewal and unity. In this regard, the National University of Uzbekistan holds a large-scale youth festival called “May the world be filled with light with you, Navruz!”

As part of this festival, a number of spiritual and educational events are organized at faculties and student residences, where students are encouraged to deeply experience our national values, study ancient traditions and demonstrate them in a modern interpretation.

Competitions and exhibitions: Students widely demonstrated national costumes, handicrafts, culinary samples and traditional decorations typical of the Navruz holiday. In particular, the process of preparing sumalak, national dances and songs made a great impression on many guests.

Sports competitions and championships: Various sports competitions, national games – wrestling, tug-of-war and other competitions were held among young people, strengthening the spirit of physical education and teamwork among the participants.
