A preventive event for students and youth was organized under the slogan “Preparation for the Winter Season”

In collaboration with the “Applied Mathematics” faculty of the Jizzakh branch of the National University of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the Jizzakh regional gas supply personnel, preventive events were held among students and regional youth to promote compliance with fire safety rules and prevent carbon monoxide poisoning during the winter season.

The event not only introduced students and youth to personal safety rules and taught them to act consciously and promptly in emergency situations, but also contributed to strengthening preparedness for climate-related emergencies that may occur in the city and university areas, including cold weather, carbon monoxide poisoning, fires, and other hazards.

During the event, participants received practical instructions on fire safety rules, and exercises were organized on identifying hazardous situations and responding to them promptly. In addition, the youth gained knowledge about the impact of climate change and extreme weather conditions on human life and the environment, and developed a deeper understanding of the importance of ensuring community resilience to emergencies.

This preventive event not only contributed to ensuring personal and community safety but also helped enhance the skills and awareness of university and regional youth in preparing for and managing climate-related risks.
