The National University of Uzbekistan has established a partnership with “Uzbek Leasing International A.O.”

On October 30, an important meeting was held at the Faculty of Economics of the National University of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by the University Rector, Inom Majidov; Zafar Mustafayev, Head of ‘Uzbek Leasing International JSC’ and an honored alumnus of the faculty; as well as the university’s vice-rectors in the relevant fields.

“During the meeting, issues of strengthening cooperation between the university and the company were discussed, and forward-looking plans were outlined to enhance students’ practical knowledge and skills, widely introduce modern approaches into the educational process, and support initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and the fight against climate change.

As part of the meeting, a newly renovated lecture hall, fully equipped with modern technical facilities, was handed over to the Faculty of Economics by “Uzbek Leasing International JSC”. This lecture hall is designed not only for regular classes but also for practical training sessions, seminars, and various scientific projects. In particular, it was emphasized that the new facility will serve as a platform for students to implement projects in green economy, energy efficiency, and environmental management

At the conclusion of the meeting, University Rector Inom Majidov reviewed the conditions created for students at the faculty. He also inspected the new lecture hall, noting that such initiatives play an invaluable role in the educational process, contributing not only to the development of competitive and highly qualified specialists, but also to the promotion of environmental sustainability.

This cooperation marked another effective step toward strengthening ties between the university and the business community, preparing students for practical activities, aligning the educational process with international standards, and thereby training responsible professionals for a sustainable future.
