Today, representatives of the internationally operating company Huawei, Lobar Mirzayeva and Muslima Yo‘ldosheva, visited the National University of Uzbekistan and engaged in an open dialogue with the students.

The meeting was also attended by Ulugbek Musurmanov, Director of the University’s Digital and Information Technology Center, as well as Uchqun Adambayev, Head of the Department of Algorithms and Programming Technologies.

During the dialogue, students were provided with detailed information about the activities of the Huawei ICT Academy, its opportunities, and educational programs. In addition, comprehensive explanations were given about the upcoming major international event – the ICT Competition global IT contest.

The participants gained essential skills regarding the content of the competition, the procedures for participation, and the registration process. During the meeting, students raised their questions of interest and received practical answers from Huawei representatives.

This event not only expanded young people’s knowledge and skills in the field of digital technologies, but also emphasized the importance of promoting innovative technological solutions within the international competition that support the principles of sustainable development and the fight against climate change. Professionals especially advised students to focus on creating environmentally friendly solutions that protect the planet and contribute to sustainable development, stressing that such approaches would strengthen the global relevance and impact of their projects.

Such efforts, in turn, create opportunities to encourage projects aimed at increasing energy efficiency, advancing environmental monitoring systems, and reducing negative impacts on the environment through digital innovations.
