On the initiative of the regional party organization of O‘zLiDeP in Jizzakh, the next event within the framework of the “New Generation of Cadres” project was held at the Jizzakh branch of Uzbekistan National University
The Entrepreneurs and Businessmen’s Movement – the Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party – has been implementing a series of promising projects across various sectors and directions. One of these initiatives is the “New Generation of Cadres” project.
The primary objective of this project is to ensure the implementation of the priorities outlined in the Party Program, the Election Platform, and the “Uzbekistan 2030” strategy. In an era of increasing competition among political parties, the initiative aims to select politically mature, patriotic, and sufficiently qualified personnel who can effectively organize party activities and meet contemporary demands. These cadres are intended for recruitment into the central, regional, and district (city) councils of the party, and the project also seeks to enhance the processes of placing them in appropriate positions.
To this end, it is crucial to actively engage students from the country’s leading higher education institutions in political processes, familiarize them with the activities of political parties, and identify promising young professionals for recommendation to the party’s current and prospective cadre pool. Moreover, involving youth extensively in the development of a lawful, democratic state and the establishment of a strong civil society in Uzbekistan is of utmost importance.
At the initiative of the Jizzakh regional branch of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (O‘zLiDeP), the next open dialogue within the framework of the project was held at the Jizzakh branch of Uzbekistan National University. The session brought together local council deputies, party activists, as well as the university’s faculty members and students.
During the event, participants were provided with detailed information about the practical activities undertaken by deputies and party activists to implement the goals and objectives outlined in the “Year of Youth and Support for Business” State Program, as well as the planned initiatives scheduled for execution.
Next, the discussion highlighted the political journey of O‘zLiDeP, which has been active for over 20 years, emphasizing the party’s significant role in key political processes, including its participation in elections. The contribution of the “Youth Wing” activists within the party’s regional branches, initiatives proposed by deputies and party members, as well as current practical activities, were thoroughly presented.
In addition, distinguished deputies and activists who have long served within the party were also acknowledged. During the open dialogue, it was agreed to actively involve candidates who demonstrated enthusiasm and willingness to work within the party and participate in party activities. A structured internship program for these candidates was introduced, with the clarification that those who successfully complete the internship will receive preferential consideration for employment within the party.
