The National University of Uzbekistan Participated in the Nationwide “Green Future” Marathon
On November 9 of this year, in Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan, the nationwide “Green Future” marathon, a significant event of national importance, was held under the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation as part of the “Green Space” nationwide project.
This major event saw widespread participation from all higher and vocational education institutions across the country. Notably, the leadership, faculty members, and students of the National University of Uzbekistan actively took part in this noble initiative, making a meaningful contribution.
During the marathon, participants emphasized the need to strengthen efforts to address environmental challenges, protect the natural environment, and promote ecological awareness among the population. Representatives of the National University of Uzbekistan put forward initiatives such as tree planting, expanding green spaces, and fostering a sense of care for nature and responsibility for the future among young people.
In this way, the “Green Future” marathon not only contributed to strengthening ecological balance in the country but also helped instill values in young people such as sustainable development, environmental responsibility, and commitment to the prosperity of the nation.
