NUU Public Talks 9.0 : “IT Community of Uzbekistan” Inspires Youth

Today, on May 7, the latest session of NUU Public Talks was held at the National University of Uzbekistan. This time, students had the opportunity to meet representatives from the “IT Community of Uzbekistan”, in an engaging session focused on their activities, opportunities, and future plans. Around 30 students participated and expanded their knowledge about the digital field and IT communities in the country.

The main speakers, Odina Turdiyeva and Shokhsanam Karimova, delivered a talk titled “What is an IT Community?”. They spoke in detail about the community’s objectives, key directions, and the opportunities available for youth.

Our goal is to bring together professionals from various fields, enabling them to learn from one another, collaborate, and grow through technology.

At the beginning of the session, participants were introduced to the values of the IT community. A short quiz followed, testing their knowledge of key IT concepts and technological trends, which helped create an open and engaging atmosphere.

We believe in learning by doing and continuous exploration. That’s why we regularly offer volunteer opportunities for students to develop their skills.

During the seminar, participants received detailed information about upcoming events, workshops, and IT MeetUps. Students were also guided on how to get involved in the community’s activities and how to contribute with their own initiatives.

At the end of the session, students shared their impressions, and those who actively participated in the seminar were awarded certificates of appreciation by the community.

The NUU Public Talks initiative aims to enhance youth knowledge, share international experiences, and promote innovation, quality education, and collaboration in line with the Sustainable Development Goals at the National University of Uzbekistan.
