On March 6th of this year, the National University of Uzbekistan hosted a ceremonial event titled “Respect for Women,” aimed at honoring the unparalleled role and significance of women in society. The event provided a meaningful opportunity to highlight and celebrate women’s contributions across various fields, including science, education, culture, and beyond.
At the beginning of the event, the university’s rector, Inom Madjidov, delivered a speech in which he warmly congratulated women on the upcoming International Women’s Day. He also expressed deep respect for the courageous women working in the education system and highly appreciated the impact they have made on society through their hard work and scientific research.
Additionally, during the event, a video prepared by the press office of the National University of Uzbekistan was shown, highlighting the achievements of women working at the university in various fields such as science, education, culture, research, and more. The video also featured their successes in scientific research, achievements in the teaching process, and outstanding results in projects and events conducted in social and cultural sectors.
The cultural part of the event featured performances by renowned artists and singers from our country, adding a unique charm to the celebration.
