The Faculty of Social Sciences, through its departments of “General Psychology” and “Social Psychology,” organized an international scientific and practical conference titled “Contemporary Trends and Prospects in Psychology” in honor of Professor Ergash Goziyevich Goziyev.
The conference was opened by Professor Dilbar Muxamedova, the head of the “General Psychology” department and Doctor of Psychology. During the event, Associate Professor Nabi Majidov, Candidate of Psychological Sciences, presented the key theories of the scientific school established by Professor Ergash G’oziyevich G’oziyev to the conference participants.
The speakers at the event emphasized Professor E. G’oziyev’s achievements in the field of psychology and highlighted how the scientific school he founded has shaped the methodological foundations of psychology. Furthermore, Professor Vasila Karimova, Doctor of Psychology, delivered a lecture on the “Principles of Social Psychology Development in Global Development Processes,” offering an in-depth discussion of the pressing issues and methodological foundations of psychology.
During the conference, the professor’s disciples, scientific teams, and colleagues highlighted how Professor E. G’oziyev’s achievements in the field of psychology, as well as the psychological literature he created, continue to serve as a practical guide for the younger generation. They also emphasized that his work remains a foundational methodological pillar in the field of psychology.
